Nanoscribe GmbH, located close to Karlsruhe, Germany, is a young, rapidly growing company. We develop and produce 3D printers for the nano-, micro- and meso-scale as well as specifically tailored materials and process solutions. As technology and world market leader in this segment, we serve the research market as well as industrial applications.
We are looking for a Field Engineer (m/f) to start immediately and strengthen our service team at our office in Stutensee, Germany
Commissioning of 3D printers worldwide including unpacking, assembly, laser alignment, tuning and testing
Basic and advanced training of customers
Technical and application support for our customers
Maintenance and service for our customers’ systems via remote support as well as field support worldwide
Strengthen the relationship to our customers
Create service quotes and manage service orders
Gather customer and support feedback to maintain and extend our database
Act as an agent for bug reports and feature requests between our customers and product development
Active participation at User Meetings
Occasionally support our sales department at international exhibitions
This position includes about 40% travel within Europe and occasionally worldwide
Successfully completed studies with a strong technological background
Outstanding problem solving and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and concentrated under pressure particularly during field service
Strong presenting skills and drive for transferring knowledge
Exceptional communication skills and excellent command of spoken and written English; basic German skills are a plus
Ability to work well in teams
Eagerness to travel internationally
Cultural sensitivity in international relations
Practical experience with optical beam path alignment
Driver’s license (German equivalent 3B) valid for German residents
As part of our young international service team, you will commission our state of the art 3D printers worldwide, visiting renowned universities, research institutes and companies. You will gather an increasing understanding of the optics, the mechanics and the electrical components of the system and proficiently maintain, repair and optimize the devices in the field. This position includes the chance to stay in touch with the forefront of scientific research in the fields of microfluidics, life-sciences, photonics, material science, micro-optics and many more. You support our customers to become expert users and convey your excitement for the technology.
