Working in Photonics 2024

What can I do after my degree? Can Iwork in Berlin / Brandenburg? What kind of tasks will I get in my first job? Wewould like to address your questions about career options for physicists with afocus on optics and photonics, to improve information for students. Join us atthe career event “Working in Photonics 2024 / Accelerate your Career in Physics”on Tuesday, May 7^th 2024. 

Many students that are about to complete or have recently completed theirdegree in physics (Bachelor/Master/PhD) do not yet have a clear idea abouttheir career path. There is usually only limited information about the various careeroptions in industry and academia. At this event, we would like to discuss yourquestions and interests, to provide better information for students. We willalso give you some insights into possible career paths in research andindustry.

 The eventconsists of two parts: We will start with short presentations, followed by aninformal networking session (including a buffet and drinks) with time forquestions and discussions in smaller groups. Visit the OpTecBB Website for moreinformation.
