• PhotonicNet GmbH was founded in 2000 on the initiative of the Federal Ministry for Research (BMBF) as a regional competence network for optical technologies for Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt.
• In the business areas of technology management, marketing & communication, and training and further education, we offer a wide range of services: from advising on business start-up, applying for funding or patenting, through bringing together project partners, to initiatives in training and further education and accompanying internal like external communication.
• Together with its partners from industry, research and universities, PhotonicNet develops supraregional forums, workshops and working groups on current development trends in the various fields of technology.

PhotonicNet is a member of OptecNet Deutschland e.V., the nationwide association of eight innovation networks for optical technologies. This is where the content of around 500 companies and research institutions is networked.
