The first issue of LASER MAGAZIN was published at the end of 1984. The experienced publishing businessman Wilfried Krauel † recognized early on the industrial potential of laser technology and the emerging boom in sensor technology. This was followed by the founding of SENSOR MAGAZIN in 1986. From the beginning, comprehensive reporting, from the basics to market-ready products, has been the magazines’ key feature. They have always covered markets and companies, practical applications, results from research centers, and innovations.
